This amazing machine belongs to a guy from a local independent shop. I have as many questions as you do, although I can at least tell you that yes, it runs, drives, and digs. I don’t think he built it, but he does keep it working and running. It was at the shop today when I stopped by, I had to snap a few pictures.
Some time I’ll ask him all about it. Meanwhile, just LOOK at this thing.

yeah, those used to be all the rage.... tractor buckets grafted onto trucks, along with the bucket.. its all hydraulically driven, so about all thats needed is the valving and the pump, and a decent reservoir....
impressive stuff. still running what... 70 years out?
